Products of 2017
2017
was a huge year beauty/skincare wise for me, I was earning a little more money
which meant I could buy more high end brands and I travelled to America
discovering many brands that are not available in the UK. I feel like I have
finally found some skincare and make up products that I really LOVE! Or that
have helped me in some way or another. Anyway I will get started, leave me your
favourites in the comments below.
____________
Skincare
The
Body Shop Tea Tree Facial Wash- This product has helped me so much in 2017; I
suffer with quite a few spots (wouldn't call it acne, but its still annoying).
I have been searching since I was about 13 for the perfect face wash that will
actually help my skin and this face wash really helps clear up my skin. It
obviously doesn't get rid overnight but consistent use shows such a great
result.
L'oreal
Detox Mask- I love myself a good pamper session, but finding a face mask that
does something instead of 5 minutes of smooth skin has been hard this year.
However the L'oreal Detox mask has been an absolute life saver this year,
whenever I have a huge break out I apply it to all my problem areas for at
least half an hour then wash it off with a wash cloth and notice a difference
the day after!
Primark
Nose Strips – I have spent so much on nose strips in the past and in 2017 I
discovered primark’s and I was not disappointed. They are only £1 for 4 and
work great!
Make
UP
Too
Faced Peach Palette- I am not someone who wears a lot of eye shadow, however
since buying this palette I have started to wear some light colours every day.
I am starting so love light peachy colours and oranges so this palette is
perfect for that. Also peach is my favourite scent and the palette smells
amazing.
Beauty
Blenders- I am usually the one who swears by a brush to apply everything but
recently I have been reaching for beauty blending (out of laziness I think). I
am finding them so much easier to blend in thick foundations and a lot gentler
on the skin.
FIT
ME foundation by Maybelline- I use this in the colour 115, and for a £6
foundation the coverage is fantastic. I usually mix it with my other
foundation’s to get the perfect colour. I will 100% be buying this in 2018. The
bottle is perfect for on the go and traveling too!
ABH Glow Kit (SUN KISSED)- It was pretty
hard for me to pick out my favorite highlighter for 2017 as I have tried out a
hell of a lot. However the ABH glow kit in sun kissed has been an active
favourite!
POREfessional Primer Benefit- I have been
loving this primer so much, I have tried around 4/5 different ones this year
and buy far this has been one of my favorites. Having spots and other
impurities on my face makes applying foundation quite tricky, however I find it
just glides on with this.
