October Favourites

by - October 29, 2017

Its November that means its nearly bonfire night, its time for way to many hot chocolates, the christmas films will make their debut on TV and it is nearly time to celebrate Christmas! This year has gone way to quick but after booking New York for next may I am so excited to get into 2018.

Anyway into my October Favourites, now I don't remember the last monthly favourites I have even posted. Purely because of the fact, I haven't really been loving anything lately. However last two months I have been trying out/buying all sorts of new and old products and I cannot wait to share with you guys what I have been loving!

Make up

First of all a foundation which is the Clinique Beyond Perfecting foundation, I will hold my hands up I usually shy away from Clinique's foundation as I never think they will have enough coverage and be too light on my skin. NOT THIS ONE!! I have oily skin with blemishes I rather not be on show and i'll tell you this foundation hides it all. I do find if I don't powder it can get a little oily but what foundation doesn't?

Second make up favourite is the NYX dark circle concealer, now this isn't really going to hide that huge red spot on your chin, but if you're anything like me and have bags under your eyes this is a life saver! I love the creamy consistency of the concealer and it lasts forever too!

Skin

I rave about the body shop in any post I know, but their skin care has been the only thing to ever work on my skin. So one of my skincare favourites this month has been The Body Shop Tea Tree Night Mask, this stuff is AMAZING! You apply it before bed on all your problem areas then night morning there is a noticeable difference in your skin!

Second skin care favourite this month is the Liz Earl Cleanse and Polish, ok I know I am late to the party... This stuff is great, I wouldn't say it actually does anything to the condition of my skin but it also doesn't cause any break outs or reactions! This stuff gets every little bit of my  make up off at the end of the day!

MISC

My first random favourite is POPBands London, these have been life savers recently. I sleep with my hair up and they're the only hair tie that doesn't leave that huge kink in my hair the next morning, with starting the gym recently too they're great as I can take my hair out knowing I wont need to style my hair after my work out so I can go straight to work. (Blog Review of POPBand London here)

Next favourite is the Sims 4 since I was about 12 I have been an anti social teenager who played on sims for countless hours of the day! A week ago I bought The Sims 4 after being highly disappointed over sims 3 and I am totally hooked, even my boyfriend is. In my opinion nothing will ever beat The Sims 2, but The Sims 4 is 100% better than The Sims 3!

TV

I have watched WAY too much TV this month and I have no idea where I have even found the time. Instead of writing about each show/film heres a list and where you can watch it!

  • Bridget Jones Baby - SKY or on DVD (Do not understand why she fancy's Mark Darcy EW!)

  • Eastenders- BBC Iplayer

  • Designated Surviver  - Netflix
There we go so that is all for my October Favourites, I hope you have enjoyed this posts. Let me know what you have been loving in the comments below!

Thanks

Melissa

  6. I love that Nyx Dark Circle Corrector, too! I find that it can be a little hard to work with because it’s so thick and creamy, but it’s great at hiding my undereye circles!

  7. I apply a serum first which makes the concealer go on a lot smoother! X
